Unfair billing

As much as I love Michael Sheen, he did not deserve top male billing for this film, as he was barely in it. Tom Wlaschiha was definately the lead male in this film, and was robbed.

reply

Too true! Tom was brilliant!

I agree with this entirely. I love Michael Sheen and think he's a great actor, but he appeared in it literally 3 or 4 times, so I'd say about 5 minutes screen time if that. He wasn't even a central character to the main plot line! Tom Wlaschiha was brilliant in it, managing to make an invading Nazi human, and even likeable, well done to him I say. Even considering the other soldiers in the village, they were more central to the story, though you don't find out much about them.

reply

Agreed, Sheen was barely in it.

reply

I agree. Tom Wlaschiha was definitely the star of this film.

reply

When Sheen's character reappeared I had forgotten who he was. He must've gotten top billing as he was the most "famous" actor in the film. Definitely not the lead. Agreed, Tom Wlaschica was the male star of the film.
