A couple of years ago I read a news report about a young black man who was shot and killed by a police officer while in handcuffs. This really made me angry and I wanted people to know about this police brutality. So, I took my G.I. Joe police doll and reenacted what went down and took a picture of it. I then looked for other instances of police brutality and recreated the scenes with my GI Joe dolls and made a series of out it.
