Did anyone watch the DVD extras?
I ask this because, throughout the movie, Mark spoke in a very slow, deliberate speech pattern -- one you might expect from someone who has sustained a brain injury.
But in one of the DVD extras where Mark is discussing how the movie turned out, I was surprised at how different his speech pattern was from the movie. He was talking at a faster clip, which didn't seem to be labored in any way.
Though I believe the story of his beating to be true, I have to say that at different points throughout the film (even before I saw the DVD extra where he's talking faster), I got a bit of an inauthentic vibe from him; something a little "actor-y" about his demeanor.
Anyone else?
Room for one more, honey.
