i'm surprised this board doesn't have a lot on it!

this lifetime movie was pretty good. don't you think so? it was very touching at times and the showing of how willis aged looked realistic as well with the progression of the years of the time frame the story was told. i'm also glad justice was done even though it took awhile but, it happens to alot of different people in what they are convicted for.

Yes, I thought it was a good movie too. There seems to be alot of mistaken idenity these days. The law system is so fickle. If you get in the system, it is hard to get out.

To the OP I was thinking the exact same thing! Wow. I enjoyed this film and the determination of the characters, I came straight here! I couldn't take that long in prison when I knew I was innocent. I would just deteriorate.

We need some input around here!

Great movie. Julia's accent was great too.

i totally agree. just rented this from blockbuster as a suggestion based on some of the movies i've rented. had no idea it was a TV movie until i came here and also didn't find it on imdb. it was very well done and yes, the ending was GREAT! this could've done well i think even in the theatres. it seemed to havea lot of honesty and raw emotion to it.

Do you think Julia Ormond aged as realistically? She never looked much different to me. You only knew she was getting older because of the prompting with dates...and the aging of her son. Still loved the movie, heart warming and satisfying.

Not surprised about the circumstances of this case. I can imagine how many people we never heard of are festering in some prison particularly in the south. I live in Texas and just lately they are beginning to admit a lot of wrong doing and bad evidence and overly enthusiastic prosecutions are responsible for putting a lot of innocent people in jail. Just in the last few months it seems like they executed a innocent man accused of setting a fire which killed his children. Sees the fire marshals that a lot of places use to investigate the scenes of fire are no more a expert of fire scenes then a 12 year old. And his findings were very suspect. So this movie is not a shocker. Even though in a country like this where our justice system is suppose to be better then most it should be a shocker.

A great movie. Very sad on occasions. Glad to see justice prevailed in the end.

I love movies based on real events and this one was very well executed but it was obvious it was a TV movie. I didn't know it was while watching it but kept thinking the entire time this was a network movie instead of a Hollywood movie. It had the recipe of TV movie all over it. The acting was great but the music, director, sequence of timing/pauses (meaning set up to have commercials with music clues and semi-climatic cliffhangers) took away from the overall storyline. It just feel a little flat. The message was what sold it though. I would have loved to have seen this done with the full weight of Hollywood behind it.
