A sad realization

• I was bullied mercilessly in High School. It was so bad, I actually dropped out. Later I paid to get my diploma online, and not having a graduation ceremony was better than sharing what's supposed to be a proud moment with people who made my life miserable. I don't much like to talk about it, but I want people to realize that bullies like this DO exist. There were some kids got it worse than I did. I'm 30 now- luckily I was in school before all these social media sites showed up. I could go home & get away from it. Now, kids can't because the bullying is online too.
• Honestly, I never thought about killing any of my tormentors. I thought about punching 1 or 2 of them in the face.... I also don't think those kids on this movie deserved what they got. But at the very beginning, when the outcasts first drugged the bullies, I was rooting for the outcasts. At the very end, I felt bad for the bullies- but I felt bad for the outcasts too. Especially when the reporter said something like the kids were kidnapped and tortured "without cause". I also came to a sad realization.
• I know The Final is a movie. But I guarantee that the bullies in this movie- whether they were hurt or not- will never bully another person. In real life, is there another way to make the bullies realize how much they impact other kids lives? They WANT to hurt people, they WANT to humiliate people. I think it would take a kid to do something similar to what the outcasts did in the movie for the bullies to realize how much the things they do hurt people. Maybe I'm wrong. If anyone reading this disagrees with me, please comment.

I completely agree with you. I hope that many of this bullies see this movie and think about it. I actually think there is a kind of message here, because in the very end the character Jack says very clearly to the police: "there are more of us out there".

Films like these are made to make you think about your actions. I hate it when the parents defend the horrible actions of their kids by saying "they're kids" or "it's just a phase", etc. Bullies grow up with self-entitlement, with a deserving personality, and never think how the people they were awful to are now, how their actions impacted the lives of those bullied. I really love how one of the bullies says in the film "hell is believing that the suffering you endure has meaning", and it is true, people suffer all the time for no reason at all, and their potential is consumed by worthless, empty scum that should have never been born in the first place. But hey, that's humanity for all of us. When I hear about these so called tragedies, I don't think "well, they [bullies] got what they deserve", I think "it's a shame that they [the bullied] dragged themselves down to their level".

Same here, I still get bullied to this day even though I graduated years ago. I honestly think these kids do deserve to be tortured because that is the only way they will learn.
