Not the first horror film shot in a single take

The horror film INVASION aka INFECTION that I wrote and Albert Pyun directed, was filmed in one single unedited shot in 2005. Lionsgate released the film in 2007

"Cut" is a bigger film than ours and I'm looking forward to seeing it, but it's not the first single shot horror film.

There have also been previous films shot in one take, so I find "Cut"'s marketing strategy of 'making cinematic history' laughable.

Also checked out the reviews on here - "I wonder if this could be a template for future films". Are you kidding? Clearly written by a friend of the director!

Or by a cast or crew member.

I've found that when a movie first gets listed here, family, friends, cast or crew members rate the movie a 9 or 10, then as the movie gets REAL votes it goes down drastically to a more realist number, like a 2-4.

Mass Acre Hill is a prime example (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1492983/)
It was rated a 10 so I started to watch it, huge mistake, it's now rated at more honest and realistic 3.

what a load of crap and yes those comments praising this are obvious self promotion by the crew

This film is pretty terrible. Why didn't they at least try to make a good film, and leave all this single take nonsense out of it?!
