I really wanted to like this but...(SPOILERS)

First flaw:
The script!
Although the idea isn't completely bad, the script was heavily flawed.

2nd Flaw:
Morris Chestnut and Regina Hall are great actors but there was absolutely zero believable chemistry between them that I picked up at all. They might as well made gabrielle union his love interest as always. They actually have on screen chemistry.

3rd Flaw:
The wife is hardly ever home and it's not really detailed in why she just suddenly upped and went out of town other than for a promotion pick up but it just came so fast.

4th Flaw:
The movie is too fast paced and feels very rushed. We just jump right into a surrogate and bam she she's bat *beep* crazy. There was absolutely no character development to even make the husband and wife likeable or root-worthy.

5th Flaw:
The surrogates odd boyfriend. They make us out to think he's going to be sinister and it turns out the surrogate was still the crazy one. It's just all a bit too confusing on who's running the show here. He wasn't even necessary to the plot. I feel like maybe they were trying to work with his character and got lazy due to the time delay; and just had him killed off somehow.

5th Flaw:
the husband and the surrogate had more chemistry than he did with his wife in a strange way. I also find it very unrealistic that while his wife was hardly home or barely showed much interest in anything besides the baby that it didn't drive him to at least consider the girl. There should have been some sort of sexual play or something; and then have the girl go insane after. It just doesn't make any sense. I was hoping he'd at least get some head from the little thot. Or at least flirt a little. He just completely shut her down at every little advance. Come on now (eye roll)

FInal Flaw:
It's pg 13 (and I didn't find out until after I watched it). I feel like with these sort of movies, there's no point in even making it a movie if it's gonna be dumbed down for a younger aged audience. It should have been rated r with some sort of nudity. That would have got this movie tons at the box office. When you hear pg 13 it just doesn't excite you to wanna see it I mean lets be honest! That's why "the perfect guy" bombed. They could have really took this script to R rated level with more screen time and a better actress to play the surrogate. The actress was terrible and those awkward happy faces she made, made me wanna punch her in the face. She just looked annoying naturally.

4th flaw:
Anna recites the line about being in control whenever she is dressed down, showing that her body is what makes her feel powerful. When John rejects her after exposing herself to him, she suddenly feels powerless and goes back to the only thing she knows which is making threats and acting violently to get her way.

5th flaw:
Both had psychopathic tendencies. The boyfriend helped to normalize Anna and give the appearance of someone who was satisfied with her life and had genuine intentions for wanting to be a surrogate. It made John and Laura more trusting of the couple until the boyfriend assaulted Anna for going off script.

6th flaw:
Although it was a small struggle, John did show that he battled temptation when looking through the window to see Anna undress, and again when deciding whether or not to view her 2nd racy video on his work laptop. If he were able to be tempted to the point of flirting with Anna, he would probably have already cheated on Laura or left her for another woman. He was loyal.

1st and final flaw:
Nudity does not make a better script.

oh and please disregard my mistake with the numbers. I think I did #5 twice lol. I also agree that nudity does not make it a better script but the way they were trying to go with it they might as well have added it for the fxck of it.
