Great cast

I think it would have been even neater though if it was Robert De Niro and Jack Nicholson that were with Pacino that made up the 3 con men. But sounds interesting though.

I think Alan Arkin could be a great crook. Same for Christopher Walken. I think it is a good thing they casted those three actors. I am curious what the result will be...

Since you like those actors, I think you'll enjoy this film. I saw a screening on that basis. Was also pleasantly surprised that Mark Margolis (great in Breaking Bad) was in it, though not all that much. I thought it was a fun movie.

De Niro, Nicholson and Keitel would be awesome

^ Oh yeah! Pacino + De Niro + Nicholson + Keitel + Walken = would be amazing. Perhaps in a movie written & directed by Tarantino?

That said, these two (Pacino / Walken) really need haircuts. That "rocker style" long frizzy thing they're both rockin' isn't making them any younger, on the contrary.

Pacino's voice has changed a lot too...but he is in his 70's (!), so it's inevitable.

Tarantino would be pretty good but it would have to be Scorsese. If it were made when they were all in their primes too it would probably be the best movie ever haha

1. Fisher Stevens did a great job directing. You won't be disappointed. It's not heavy or rich like a Scorcese, and doesn't lend itself to a lot of violence, like Tarantino, although there is a definite nod to Pulp Fiction in one scene. It's more fun than anything, but not superficial.

2. The haircuts work in the context of the film. They're meant to look haggard, old, and out of time. You'll see.

3. These 3 actors are great for the parts. Arkin steals the show for the little bit that he's in there.

Wow, someone here actually gets it! This was a very good movies starring 3 great actors. Yes, lots of comedic element, but at the same time a bit of a dramatic tribute to their pasts. I enjoyed the movie a lot and sense that folks are more interested in seeing a good movie and less so in attempting to come off as erudite on IMDb will also like the movie. I gave it 9 stars and stand by my rating.

That would have gotten me to watch it too, however, I really wanted to see a pairing of Walken and Pacino. I'm also slightly a bigger fan of Walken than Pacino. I adore Walken and can watch him endlessly, even if the script is bad.

Walken and Pacino's signature styles meld perfectly together.

I would have orgasmed if they had Jack Nicholson in there instead of Arkin. That's the only change of casting that I would make. Yeah, I could definitely see Nicholson doing the driver part.

I absolutely loved and appreciated this movie and hope there is at least another pairing of Walken and Pacino. Gosh ... fifty years to finally have a movie with the two of them together.

Funny, DeNiro has played in movies all ready with Walken and with Pacino. Not sure at this moment if De Niro was in a movie with Jack or not. Drawing blanks and it's beddie bye time.

I like Lucy Punch.

I like Lucy Punch too. I am so used to seeing her in British films and TV shows that I was surprised to see her have a good part in an American film. I don't count her role in Into The Woods. She can be exceptionally funny with the right material.
