Everyone's saying "Honey I shrunk The Damon" hardy hur har. But does anyone else get a vibe that this is basically going to be a less-bleak Incredible Shrinking Man with a completely different theme? Like, they're deliberately going for a vibe that's the opposite of Richard Matheson's work.

Several “shrinking man” films come to mind when watching Downsizing. But the first time I saw the trailer for this film images of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids popped into my head. Obviously Downsizing is very different from those movies.
And lmao at the negative comparison to Ant-Man.
