The new Dallas on TNT has really taken off with good ratings and good reviews with reviews complimenting them on being able to bridge the old characters with the new. Something that i don't think the rebooted Melrose Place on the CW was able to do successfully. I wish that TNT channel had been the one to produce MP, it may still be on if they did.

sharethe writers of this show and the new 90210 should really take a few lessons from the writers of the new dallas who know how to write.they have openly said in interviews about the new dallas that they sat down and watched all 14 seasons of the original dallas before writing so they could keep up with continuity.the cw has basically trashed 2 great shows from the 90s melrose place and 90210 with their lousy writing.i too agree that if they were going to bring melrose place back it should have been done by tnt network.
