So, I binge watched all 7 seasons of the original and then just finished MP 2.0, which I actually quite enjoyed once the Violet and Auggie characters were written off. However, one thing about the new show kinda bothers me. Why did they feel the need to change the complex so drastically? I mean, I feel like the courtyard/building was kind of a "character" on the original show and it's totally different now. And when one of the original characters comes back to the complex, nobody mentions how different it is. They just walk in and say, "wow...i remember when I lived here. Brings back memories." No! It's totally not the same! Even the pool is facing a different direction! Anyway...Lexi did one hell of a job upgrading the complex.

The best moment was when Jo walked into the courtyard and said something like "oh yeah, I lived right up there" and then pointed to a part of the building, almost as though it was where the old Apartment 6 used to be. Even though the building had been completely remodelled since then.

Exactly!! It's frustrating! And did you notice how Amanda walked into Sydney's apartment and went right into her walk-in closet and knew exactly where the safe was? Uhhhh...you didn't live there when it looked like that! And wow...Those apartments are huge now with those ridiculously nice kitchens! I wish they would've kept it simple...but then again, I don't really like change. :-)

Yeah, I wish they had kept it a bit closer to the original - even back in the 90s everyone used to comment on how unrealistic it was for these people to live in that nice apartment complex and compared to the new one it was a dump!

I wish they would've kept a sort-of dumpy bar too a la Shooters rather than a high-end restaurant.
