I think it's terrible that this show is ending over something as petty as company politics. And even though there may be more animated projects, canning a show that had great ratings, fun animation, excellent, funny writing and talented voice actors while so many terrible shows contine is lame. Bah!
Over at Marvel Animation Age, one of the statements from Marvel about the end of the series included a mention that there are some other SHS animated projects in the works. I don't know if they will be dtvs, shorts, specials or maybe even a new spinoff series but I think it's cool that they'll try more stuff with the SHS. Most likely, anything new will also not have to deal with lousy scheduling by Cartoon Network.
shareCouldn't agree with you more about Cartoon Network's lousy scheduling. Their great shows get very little air play, maybe with the exception of Adventure Time, but even then they tend to show the same episodes over and over. Even worse than that a standalone episode of "AT" is only 15 min. long so they usually show two episodes to fill a 30 min block, unless it's a new episode. Then they only show only one new 15 min episode which is then usually followed up by last weeks new episode, that they've been showing all week long.
