This movie didn't seem to try as hard and i felt it packed way more of a punch. Thoughts?

Totally agree, it has way more gritt than try-hard A Serbian Film.

I thought it was considerably better. I was surprised by how effective this film was (and not just on a visceral level). There’s a sad, somber movie here beneath the blood-soaked imagery.
