The little goat looked very floppy at the end...did it actually die? Was it crushed to death in the commotion? Or asleep?

Wouldn't surprise me if they killed it for the movie :( love that I wasn't the only one who watched this wreck of a movie and thought BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOAT?
