Please tell me they're deliberately trying to make it as bad as possible for comedic purposes.
Where do they get these actors? They make Paris Hilton look like Oscar-material.

Where are the good actors in New Zealand? There must be some out there surely because this flock of no talent over-acting theater-trained bums are stinking up the screens.
I could ask "Are you for real?". It's hilarious. As an Aussie (where are you from?), I love this show. It's my second-favourite NZ show ever (after Outrageous Fortune). I preferred the cast in the earlier seasons, but the new cast has grown on me during the latest season.
shareI have season 1-4 and enjoyed every minute of it. I became a fan of Jay Ryan because of Beauty and the Beast which premiered in 2012 and wanted to see more of his work. I wasn't disappointed!
It was very easy to become invested in the characters. But I felt that at the end of season 4 they left a lot of unanswered questions.
Do we ever find out if Britta ever told Kevin about the baby. Does Brad every hook up with anyone. And what happened to Angelina, does she get back together with Brad.
Has the series been renewed for a season 6 do you know?
I don't know whether there will be a season 6. I hope so.
