I wanna truck that will run on airplane gas, too.

And a chicken that will keep for 2 days in Africa's heat with no refrigeration. I did find that this one was probably one of the best of the last 5 or so years. Very tense.

New sig soon...

Most non-electronically-controlled vehicles run pretty well on 100LL.

The US army uses one fuel for everything from tanks and trucks to fighter jets and helicopters to lanterns and heaters. I don't know anything about the type of truck they were driving but it is not inconceivable that they are using a standardized fuel in a war zone.

The US army uses two types of fuel actually, JP8 Which is the same for all ground based vehicles and equipment and JP4 for aircraft. I dont know about a car, but my grandfather used to work for an aircraft manufacturer, and he put aviation gas into his lawn mower to see what would happen and it's engine exploded.

You can run a car or truck on alcohol of a high enough proof, though it isn't good for the engine to do it for very long (it will clean all the crap out of the engine, though). Airplane fuel, afaik, is basically distilled kerosene, I don't see why a regular vehicle couldn't run on it. Maybe not good for it, but in a pinch, i'd take any fuel I could get...

I'm not really sure what the purpose of having a truck that can run on airplane fuel is outside of the situation portrayed in this movie...that *beep* is expensive as hell!
