The War in 2020 by Ralph Peters

About 30 minutes in, I had the feeling that I knew what happens in this film when it was shown on the Horror Channel here in UK on 23 April. It as only later when I happened to glance at one of my bookshelves that I saw the source of my deja-vu.

It is a book entitled The War in 2020 written by Ralph Peters and published in UK in 1991 by "Lime Tree". Now, I'm not saying that this film is a direct crib, but the plot could easily have been lifted straight from the beginning of the book.

The book is much better than the film!
