Great Movie!

Watching this movie again on the tv for about the third or fourth time. The first watch was very good.
This movie is a really cool Zombie apocalypse movie because of several factors to include the location and cinematography.
No big names, no real hype, just kind of showed up on one of the movie channels and was easy to ripoff of and get into as it does not try to over do anything.
A nice quality of films with less budget, these guys who made this movie get to the point and they take really good use of the location bring Africa, some nation in Africa where there is an Ocean.
The movie doesn't try to persuade or hype much at all, instead it just drops into the setting as everyone and everything is coming undone.
The zombie extras it seems locals to where film was made are extraordinary in their lost lurching, pulled from what appears an honest portrayal of People who appear poor, but live richly. They are zombies though and they want to eat anybody alive and moving!
The 2 guys surviving together trying to find the African soldier's Son are placed together well out of sheer necessity. That move made Castillo easy because those 2 dudes seem randomly different in many ways but are the same person trying to survive when we get down to the bottom line ...
The nighttime scenes of location are well done! It seems they are equally at risk of some dangerous animal like a tiger or jackal jumping out of the bush.
Whenever a zombie movie has a Shaman in it as in the village they take shelter, it really seems AllBad. Not because of the Shaman, but because those dudes seem to know it is only going to get worse whenever they interpret the supernatural side of why
The actor playing the soldier is a tough dude and sincere. Honorable and a really good hero. Even when he gets bit before the American scientist guy and him can find his Son, it is a classic Romero moment of all seems lost.
The scientist guy though goes thru some harrowing landscape coming across several cultures of People now rendered zombie until he finds the guy's Son. It ends barely optimistic.
The movie looks like if one was very fit and built for location, it would have been alot of fun being with the crew during filming.
I like the actors alot. Hopefully they will see more roles.
The many African peoples equally the Women as well, are tough, independent, genuine and Humble.
They go toe to toe with the zombies!
Excellent film. Much Respect!!!

I thought the scene with the mother and baby where the mother had a lame leg and asked to be shot as she couldn't keep up was well acted and incredibly sad.
