Finally sat down to watch it last weekend, after years of lowered expectations. It pretty much lived down to them. I felt nothing watching it. Just going through the motions.

80's classic vs modern run of the mill

Poorly cast.

Lost all interest after an hour .

Badly done all the way around. Poor casting, hackneyed writing, overuse of CGI, etc. I really can't think of one thing this movie did well.
