The are currently having James Gunn reboot Suicide Squad......
for me this tell you all you need to know about WB....They truly have no clue or idea what to do with there DC films....
first when they finally decided they wanted a cinematic universe after The Avengers hit box office gold in 2012, They had no plan or idea, they Let Zack Snyder Literally Godfather everything because at least he had a vision, all be the completely wrong vision....
Once Snyder Shit the bed, WB then Began bringing In The exact directors from previous MCU films....
lol WB had no clue what to do with Justice League, so they bring in Joss Whedon....
The SOUL REASON why Suicide Squad was greenlit and written was because WB wanted a "GOTG" like franchise....WB once again saw They insane success Marvel Studios had with GOTG and wanted a film/franchise they could have similar success....
but once again They shit the bed with it....Had no clue what to do with the sequel, So they literally bring in The director of GOTG to fix it....
Its just astonishing that WB Literally started the DCEU because They saw the success of The Avengers....Literally Greenlit Suicide Squad because they saw the success of GOTG...
and in the end, WB Literally had to bring in the directors of both of Those MCU films to try and fix them because they had no idea how to make successful similar movies, WB wanted their own versions of The Avengers and GOTG, But Literally could not figure out how to make them successfully in JL and SS Without literally bringing in the exact Writers and directors from The films they are trying to copy
