I cannot believe how terrible this movie is...

I read the reviews, but I didn't trust them. I thought...even if it's not great, I bet I'll still like it. Nope.

The plot didn't make sense. Why send a bunch of regular people and two people with abilities (Diablo and Croc) to take out a witch than can do almost anything?

Speaking of doing anything, what was she trying to do, anyway? Destroy the planet - one aircraft carrier at a time?

What's even more amazing is that the WB put out probably THE two worst movies of the year in the SAME universe. BvS may be even worse than this mess.

I wouldn't be surprised if the WB announces that they added Assassin's Creed to this universe after the reviews from THAT movie.

How can anyone blame the studio??? When WB execs saw that Ayer was delivering garbage, what do you expect them to do? After multiple dailies and chunks of footage where screened I'm betting high level meeting had to be called. It's like watching a house on fire and sitting back and doing nothing. Or like tasting terrible food made by a chef. As a restaurant owner, are you going to sit back and let him serve it as is? Any one of us would have done the same thing as the WB did after seeing how Ayers was crapping the bed.

It's amazing how many people keep falling for the DCEU trailers. Do they have short term memory disorder?

These new DC movies SUCK. Amazing how WB destroyed what Bale and Ledger accomplished so quickly isn't it?

DC fan here, I can no longer argue DC films are superior to Marvel films having seen this. Nolan's TDK films are the best bar none.

Throughout my ratings history I've rated 707 films, only five have one star, this is one of them. If like me you paid full ticket price it's like rubbing salt into the wound. Jai Courtney was the best part about it.

Nolan had one great film. One average at best origin movie and one AWFUL batmovie. Hardly setting the bar very high.

I finally saw it this week and as a DC fan I was embarrassed for us all. Will Smith (with a few exceptions) played the same cocky, badass character he always plays. How long has he been showing up in that skin? It started with 'Bad Boys' (1995), and here we are 2 decades later. Killer Croc should have been mega dangerous. The writers should have had him claw out that device, regenerate the tissue and then run off to whereabouts unknown. They turned him into a pet. It was sad. Then having the squad come together to save June was like a friendly Disney XD film. FY anybody. Enchantress was the worse villain period. If Waller had total control of her why did she even need villains with basically no powers? Harley Quinn had a baseball bat for Pete's sake. I'm late to the party but like I said, I was embarrassed. I didn't think they could top the "Martha" crap from Batman v Superman but they did. Waller showing up a micro-second after June comes out of the shell...really? As for Leto's Joker. I liked it. Reminded me of the version from 'Batman Beyond".

late to the party as well but I honestly didn't really have much of an intention to watch it. At best I WAS mesmerized by the color palette in the trailers. but I also fell for that with Zach Snyder's Sucker Punch. I thought it was better than BvS, but that's not saying much. Sitting through the forced attempts at comedy reminded me of how bad The Hangover 2 was. And the Diablo character called the suicide squad his family?? With the movie's timeline, he must have known them for like 5-6 hours at best. And the joker sucked too, he was just some gangsta trying to be hard, but also trying to be crazy. It's like as if he saw on Twitter or Tumblr that girls dig crazy guys, so he tried to imitate. His craziness didn't seem genuine and ingenious to me at all, and his laughs sounded forced like as if he was stalling to think of something witty to say.

Overall, it was just a dumb movie that looked visually appealing sometimes, like in the end credits.

Dumb yes. Visually appealing? Not really.

For me anyways.

"one aircraft carrier at a time?"

Now that was classic!
