The Final Insult!!!

IMDB shutting down is really the best and final insult against those you fanatics/zealots. Those of you who claim to be DC fans but are actually an insult the DC fanbase.


For years, you gloated and trolled your way through Marvel boards here about how the DCCU would be "the end of the MCU as we know it" and would usher in "a new era of CBM that will turn the public's heads" and become "a tidal wave that wipes out the MCU, Star Wars and FOX MCU". You threatened to kill people who put you in you in your places and you claimed that BVS would beat Avatar. So many promises...so much gloating...


Then, reality (and karma? ) kicked in and BVS performed far less than a film of that magnitude in the golden age of CBM's ever should have. Batman/Bruce Wayne, Superman and Lex Luthor became the subjects of legendary internet memes and the "epic" fight between Batman and Superman will forever be remembered as "the fight that ended with a safe word about their mothers sharing the same first name". The "grand appearance" of the Justice League was handled via a youtube video and subject of JOKES and "who are those people?" reactions rather than positive fanfare.

Then, the hits kept on coming with a Leto Joker who was subject to public scrutiny because of his sick behind the scenes pranks that he claimed was his way of "staying in character" and Suicide Squad was met with even worse reception than BVS with the "grand silver screen appearance of Joker and Harley" met with lukewarm to negative reception and Leto being the first "meh" live action Joker.

To add insult to injury, the news is already out and rumors of troubled productions behind Wonder Woman, Justice League and The Batman are swirling. Affleck (referred to by many as the DCCU's Robert Downey Jr.) seems primed to leave the franchise, The Flash lost four directors and is now back to a page one rewrite, Cyborg was cancelled and Aquaman is rumored to have problems.


All that gloating. All those threats. All that trolling. All that harassment of MCU and Star Wars fans. All that self-assurance of success...and what happened?

Superman lost to a talking raccoon and talking tree as well as a Z-list hero who also had a red cape.

Batman and Superman's "epic" silver screen fight ended up being a five minute melee of mostly Batman kicking Superman's ass. Lex Luthor was transformed into an effeminate Jolly Rancher sucking moron with oral fixations and obsessions with men. And Martha Kent forever transformed into an internet meme and the butt of people's jokes. The film lost (and lost big) to its MCU counterpart: Captain America: Civil War--two films that were, more or less, equal in terms of scale. A soft opening prequel to the Justice League movie that couldn't even crack a billion in the golden age of comic book movies.


And the best part of all of this...even IF DCCU ever gets a win...there will be NO board to troll, gloat and brag to again. IMDB is shutting down and the zealots here will forever have to live with the memory of this board shutting down while you were all at your lowest, beaten and battered as much as your stupid DCCU. No chance at absolution. No chance at revenge. No chance to regain your footing. The boards will shut down with you in a more defeated and pathetic state than your moronic Millennial Luthor with his dumb bald head in his prison cell and no Steppenwolf will be in your future to release you.


And that, my friends, is what we call JUSTICE (League) and karma owned, well-earned and a LOOOOONG time coming.


And THAT is what you get for spending years harassing the MCU fanbase over a grossly-incorrect assumption over the DCCU.

You reap what you sow and now you get to be remembered as the idiots who were beaten down as badly as your DCCU's reputation.


Enjoy your defeat...the FINAL buttfck...and it's MARVEL(pun)OUS.


And those are the words of mine that I want you to remember more than any other when these boards are shut down. That is my best and final insult--COLD...HARD...FACTS. There is no greater insult one could possibly level against someone.
