is merete supposed to be karen margrethe's daughter?

it said so in my local cinema's movie description but is this actually made understood in the movie?

it crossed my mind, but i don't think anything in the film actually indicates it.

I did notice that when he was trying to adjust the tv antenna a toy boat fell out. I wondered about an unmentioned child, but it never occurred to me that the girl at the garage was Swen's daughter.

Now it makes sense: he warns not to fool around with her; the "mother" calls her a slut. Trouble in the family?

One thing I did feel by the end of the movie. It need a second movie to explain the first.
