the reason I didn't think it was funny...

is because the characters blend together too much. He was 'George W.' one second, and 'Will Ferrell' the next. He didn't stay true to his G.W. character at all during the entire show. It was very distracting and I think that it took away from the comedy of the whole thing. Opinions?

I can see what you're saying, he sometims transformed into the Will Ferrell we know, but not so overly much that I found it distracting. He had me laughing throughout.
