If you liked Cop Out, you'll love The Other Guys.
The only people who possibly could have liked Cop Out are Tracy Morgan fans. It seems people either love him or hate him...there's no in-between. I'm a fan, though I completely understand how many just can't stand the guy. To me, Tracy Morgan and the psycho burglar were the only good things about Cop Out.
The Other Guys is a much stronger piece of work. It helps if you're a Will Ferrell fan, but Wahlberg is pretty good in the film as well. Like Cop Out, The Other Guys ultimately devolves into complete stupidity, but Will Ferrell's performance is one of his best.

You forgot to mention that "The Other Guys" had a PLOT!
