I miss the good old days when casting wasn't done to fall in line with political correctness and "diversity." Isn't it discriminatory to choose actors based on race or gender? Oh... right... those PC rules aren't in place to protect white people, so discrimination against whites goes undetected or more accurately, goes unchecked. Looking at the 3 main characters, one is a white American, one is a British woman and the angel, or most kind hearted adjustment bureau agent, is black.

You must not be aware that casting is done with politically correct parameters in mind. I forget the specifics of the movie in question at this point, by the way. I don't remember the specific actors or their characters.

Thankfully for the reflective OP's sake the original ending with God being played by an actress raised as a Muslim didn't make the final cut. Otherwise he may well have been looking for the nearest cliff from which to jump.🐭
