So I just watched this last night, and alot of people on these boards are saying that the Chairman is the bartender. My question is, who the hell is the bartender? It must have been a tiny part as I have no recollection of him or her at all.

It was a woman played by Jennifer Ehle. I recognised her and wondered why she just appeared in two short scenes.

Working as a bartender is a very good way to observe people when their inhibitions are getting lower, though. It would make complete sense for the Chairman to interact with them in such a way to see them in an unrestricted way.
