Indian audiences aren't THAT dense, are they?

This film just irked me. Too much exposition, too much time given to characters explaining the story. Whatever happened to the "show, don't tell" tactic? Every little detail, every little plot element was being narrated by the characters like you would read in a novel. And by the end of the film, it was becoming routine for Madhavan to shout "mujhe sab samajh agaya hai!". Yeah, great, now let us watch the frickin movie!

Could have been a much, much better film, if there was even an inch of subtlety to it. Horror film for the brain-dead and the attention deficit. Hits you in the head over and over again until you finally understand, the kind of thing grade school teachers do to you in class.
