its not a remake its has two different language versions shot simultaneously. so both are equally original. two versions of same movie starring two different casts was shot and released in hindi and tamil. only madhavan, his wife(neetu chandra), sachin khedekar(the doctor) and the blind man(dhritiman chatterjee) reprise their roles. the movie is quite original although there are some scenes similar to j-horror.

also the photo morphing into a dirty face(dont remember name of movie but is similar to some movie).

Yeah.. that scene was from Shutter (Thai horror movie).. its Hollywood remake looked pathetic..
