hey guys, just now got a news that Hollywood producers have approached the producers & director of 13B & a remake of 13B is being planned :)

The Best horror thriller ever made in India :)

I wont call it best Horror movie... definitely not.. RGV has made better movies like Kaun, Raat, Bhoot..

Concept was good.. but execution could have been much better.. and plus those 2 completly unneccesary songs spoiled the movie for me..

well buddy.....Kaun was a rip off from an English movie! I wont call it a better movie than 13B then....though it was a good movie & even Bhoot & Raat's concept has been copied!

I don't think so.. the concept was not copied... they could have inspired by some movies.. but copying and getting inspired are 2 different things... a blatant copy would be Murder (from Unfaithful)..

I am not saying that 13B is a bad movie... just that it could have been better..

And what English movie might that be? If you're going to accuse a film of plagiarism, at least name the movie it was supposed to be inspired by. I doubt such a movie even exists though.

thank god they are re-making it. this movie was trash, hopefully the American film studios can make this watchable.

This is easily the most hyped disappointment ive read about on IMDB

the first song was completely & totally waste of time!

the second song while being boring served some purpose... showing them as a functioning happy family

Why...So..Serious? Let's put a smile on that face of yours!

Ya "Weinstein Company" had bought this movie as said by the director in one of his interview ........and also reported that this is the first Indian movie to be remade in Hollywood

Families as big as in 13B don't exist abroad... generally speaking. Wonder if they'll change the story to make it more Americanized.
BTW, who should play the lead (Madhavan's role)??? Mark Wahlberg, Colin Farell, Matt Damon...

it's cool that hollywood is remaking this... cuz the film looks good, but tbh, all the packis in it put me off, and I hate budit films..

Well.. they dont take generally make horror movies with big stars.. most of them are very low budget.. but I would love to watch Matt Damon is something like that..

i thought 13B was a copy from the movie Stay Alive where people die exactly as in the game. and when 13B will be remade by Hollywood then i think it wont be big as well, cause Weinstein company is makes independent movies and i think they wont hire A grade actors like Matt Damon. it will just be another horror/thriller movie that no one remembers.

I loved this movie, so orignal and really good. Especially for a indian movie, I been seeing other hindi horror movies. Pure crap cinema, everything is copied but this one was orignal. And R.Madhavan did a amazing job, like always.

oh yeah, what about "Chhoti Si Baat"? When i watched "Hitch" with my parents, my dad kept saying "This looks a a lot like that Amol Palekar movie"

Actually I found out 2 years ago that Chhoti Si Baat is a remake of School for Scoundrels from 1960
