50/50 comparison

This movie’s been out for about three days, since I wrote this review, and I’m already hearing comparisons to “50/50.” Both are good movies with similar plots, but the themes are radically different.
What do you think?

Haven't seen this one, 50/50 was a good one but it didn't left anything significant in my memory, all i can remember is i watched it. So this genre is boring, i'll skip it now.

is this one at least "realistic"?

between the two films, Death of a Superhero wins by a mile. This film was more realistic then 50/50. With 50/50 the characters we're too heightened and unbelievable while in Superhero, they were portrayed so perfectly without any over the top non sense. It was as if the film was more of what could really happen to a real life 15 year old boy with cancer as opposed to being a comedy/drama view on the topic.

Watch this film, it truely is a great flcik with great actors, Donald (Thomas Brodie Sangster) was amazing amazing amazing. The film has some funny parts to cut the drama a bit but they're nicely placed around the film and not so much in your face.

8/10
