I'm curious about this movie

Saw this in a Los Angeles art theatre last week.
It is very good, IMO.
This is a different type of movie for both the actors, and they do quite well with roles given the time constraint of 1.5 - 2 hr. for a major run. I think it could've been longer and filled in some areas (like the rituals and the defense plan).
See it when you can.

I just saw it and it's pretty lousy. Too ponderous and poorly staged and edited to be a decent action movie, and as a character study it's shallow. It's cliched and dull. Also, it has the worst man-and-beast fist-bump scene since Jurassic World.
