I remember he sees the plate he fed the bird on broken on his window sill. I assume his daughter broke it but I don’t remember her doing so. For a moment I thought she might have killed the bird but nothing was ever mentioned afterwards.

shareShe definitely broke the plate but as for killing the bird, you ever tried to grab a bird? The only way she could’ve killed it would’ve been to poison it, and if she was going to do that she wouldn’t’ve broken the plate.
