did you like better? Machine Girl or Tokyo Gore Police?
Since Robo-geisha and Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl are coming out I thought I'd pose the question... plus which one of these new ones are you looking forward to seeing?
I personally liked MG and TGP equally. Different directors, but the same awesomeness!
I prefer Machine Girl over TGP, Although the effects, prothetics were amazing in TGP it's just not as well written as MG. After seeing hte robogeisha trailer i tried TGP again last night, again turned it off halfway.
im looking forward to robo more than VGvsFG, purely because i dont like vampires. and i love cyborgs and geishas!

I love Tokyo GOre but after seeing Vampire Girl Vs. Frankenstein Girl on friday, id have to go with VG Vs. FG as my fav top 10 movies of all time. Perfectly blended comedy and horror. F-ing funny as hell!!!!
Yup singetter. ALot of people i know loved or hated TGP. I loved it. VG Vs. FG was perfectly blended together with COmedy, Horror, etc. It felt like a school drama play. But it just worked you know.
I much prefered MG which seemed to have a bit more substance behind it. I did like the infomercials on TGP though especially the Wii Samurai sword what a great addition. TGP just jumped about too much for me.
I know. It reminded me of Paul's fake trailers in Starship Troopers. You know he always has those. Starship Troopers, Robocop and i cant recall if he had any in Total Recall? Been a while since i've seen it.
I was lucky enough to TGP in the cinema (at 5am, lmao) and although I loved its almost fetish-like perversions and mixture of blood, I felt it was slightly too long, and direly needed to be cut by 20 minutes.
Machine girl is also great, although I think Meatball Machine is also fab
Tokyo Gore Police had good gore, but apart from the opening scene there was no energy to it and that opening was, imo, the only good fight against an Engineer.
I would have liked it a lot more if the story had been about a series of battles with the Engineers - which is what I thought it was going to be about, but it completely abandoned that halfway through the film and went off on a complete tangent for the remainder of the film. Perhaps a second viewing would help, as I was seriously dissapointed with the direction the plot took the first time.
The Machine Girl delivered perfectly though and had so much energy and brilliant fight scenes.
I personally enjoyed TGP more, I relished the satire, madness and over the top body horror in it. I found Machine Girl to be great, I just enjoyed TGP more.
