Shiro Robot and the bloody buildings...

When the Shiro Robot hits the buildings there is such a large amount of blood coming out from it. Why? Are the buildings alive? 0_o'

I too wondered.

Perhaps they didn't have time to add rubble. ;D

After watching this movie five times, I believe the reason the buildings spout blood is for the simple reason that the viewer will never figure out exactly why the buildings spout blood.

Have you seen how Japanese people bleed in these films? Now imagine how many people are killed by one blow of the robot. Go figure. ;)

reply

Robot is angry, robot kills ugly highrise, killing equals bloodshed. It makes perfect sense in this movie.

He he. I'm not sure exactly WHY it happened! All I know is that it made me laugh. It's even more ridiculous than the lawnmower scene in Braindead/Dead Alive.
