What about Sam Elliot?

He's still looking hot and sexy. He didn't have much screen time in the movie, though.

I agree. I love Sam Elliott and he is still as sexy as hell.

I, too, was disappointed he did not have a larger role in the movie. Any time with Sam is golden, even if it's only his voice ("Beef... It's what's for dinner." Ohhhhhh yeah!)

reply

Ha! I was reading and barely watching this and heard his voice and immediately looked up. And then got busted by hubby. Yeah - he's still got it. Yum

Super agreed!! ;0)

I guess I missed something because I didn't understand who he was -what was his relationship to Mimi? I wasn't sure if they were lovers, friends or had some kind of business relationship (dealing pot)? He obviously knew about her past but I don't think he was involved in the movement. Anyway, I thought they didn't take any time to establish his character. I didn't read the novel so I don't know if he played a larger role in the book and his part was whittled down in the movie due to time constraints.

Fwiw, he did look good-he just has an amazing presence.

Cheers

Oh he was soooo hot. Did you actually watch the movie and absorb the plot?

reply

Hot and sexy? I would have no idea but he sucks as an actor and there seems to be no variation between the characters he plays.

reply

I think people expect Sam Elliot to be Sam Elliot, laconic and cool. The moustache can do the acting for him.

Its that man again!!

reply

I'm a straight guy, but I'd love to have him read me a bedtime story. That voice melts gold.
