Season 2

Any word on what would have come in a possible second season? It really seemed set up for something good...
The writers of Tru Calling released their possible season 2 continuation, just hoping for something similar here...

This show was awesome. Never got a chance.

Exactly, cancelling it after 2 episodes was ridiculous. It was unfair to the cast and crew and those who put their time in. huge insult.

The mystery of this series was outstanding. But those retarded ABC never gave this a chance thus giving the show totally ridiculous ending with nothing resolved. *beep* abc!........I just hope the writers open up the mystery of what they were going to show.

This show was terrible. Most of the actors were good. But the writing was awful. I wanted to bite something. It's no wonder why they cancelled it so quickly.

Canceling after only a couple episodes make me wonder if they will ever again allow a show to build in Popularity and viewers... Some of the best TV series started off as poorly rated TV shows but over time gained viewers by word of mouth... I hate this new world of, having to have everything instantly: money, success, ratings, etc...

ABC is the worst broadcast ever.
They canceled everything without any respect with the audience.
Years ago I was watching "Invasion" .. CANCELED (and the mystery? UNSOLVED!)
last year I gave a second chance and watched 2 ABC shows.
Flash Forward - CANCELED (and the mystery? - UNSOLVED!)
Happy Town - CANCELED and the mystery? - UNSOLVED !)

ABC don't give a **** for us, they just want money, money and money. Okay, I agree in cancel shows that are not "showing" profits. But AT LEAST, give us a proper END, record 2 or 3 more episodes just to solve the "mysteries" and don't let the audience in the trash bin like an used paper.

You have a valid point. My thoughts exactly!

no unfortunately because of Reality *scripted* television being so inexpensive and getting good ratings for the cost we'll never get a show that can stumble out of the block and get better later on.

If a show isn't pulling in monster ratings in it's first few episodes they get cancelled no matter what. It makes sense from a business stand point but not in a television viewing stand point. The ratings are bogus, the people who have the boxes watch the same crap reality shows. Personally I detest those shows, called reality but scripted nearly as much as a scripted show.

We'll never get another amazing show because reality shows get such huge ratings by putting a bunch of idiots nobody cares about in scripted situations and calling it reality.

I share your opinion of "Reality shows"...

I'm still waiting for a miracle :)
The show was amazing! It's got that Stephen King vibe with a Twin Peaks nostalgia to me

How do you get Netflix or a cable outlet to pick up a show. Write in campaign? I guess they would have to be sold on their being a big enough audience to make money on it.

It really seemed set up for something good...

That's surprising. It lacked direction in my opinion. What future storylines did you foresee?

reply

Its hard to explain honestly.

It has this chaotic feel to it, much like Twin Peaks had.

They channeled their inner lynch for this, beit on purpose or on accident. All I know, is I want more.

Hopefully the new Twin Peaks will shower us with its greed.

I think I got ya; you liked it's set-up & style. It was promising. That I agree with, but storywise it didn't go anywhere interesting.

I think I saw the creators of the show released some outline of their plans for season 2 online a couple of months after the final episode,, but that was so long ago I have to suspect it's either been removed or lost in the sea of millions of internet links..

unless someone links it up below..

Such a shame, this show was great, it got lost because of how cheap reality shows are to make, and how scripted shows normally take a while to actually get a following.

It also didn't help that the show required viewers to actually watch the shows that preceded it, and all the answers weren't provided for you in the first five minutes of the show.. American viewers are stupid hambones, and changed the channel for stuff which doesn't require them to use their noodle at all..
