Although I loved the show, I must criticize some acting...

I'm one of the few who wishes there would be a season 2 of LO. But I also see areas that could use fixing.

I have to say, some of the acting was pretty weak and unconvincing. Teresa, Lights' mom, and the middle daughter (Danielle?) never really cried or poured their hearts out to sound like concerned family. When the subject of Pugilist's Dementia came up, I was hoping for more emotion to pour out. Same thing for Light's Mom. She almost convinced me, but not quite.

That's all I can think of. Most other actors were great. Stacy Keach and Eamonn Walker (Pops & Romeo) gave great performances.

And I LOVED Light's confession performance on the last ep. He shed a tear and it seemed the most genuine.

Too bad this contributed to a cancellation, but hopefully it will get a second shot elsewhere...

I think you're confusing acting with weeping on cue--in which case, our current Speaker of the House, John Boehner, would be the greatest actor of all time.

McCormack was perfect. She was an asset to the show. The only actor I was iffy about was the guy who played Johnny, and that's probably more about the character than the actor.

Speaker Boehner cries because he's a whiny bitch. As are you.
