It's sad to see young people taught this. That the whole world is against them. You can see in the movie how it creates negative confirmation bias. The Jewish kids are so ready to experience anti-Semitism that when some men talk to them their minds hear insults that they didn't say. What is really terrible is that an incident like that, misinterpreted, likely would increase their fear of gentiles and feelings of isolation in gentile areas.

On one hand, Jewish people seem close-knit and they have each other. Yet it's still a shame that some might believe that friendship with gentiles isn't even an option. Most people would be happy to have them as friends.
