Does anyone know anything about David Lambert's character in this?

I heard a while ago that he was going to be in it from his twitter but he hasn't appeared in any of the promos. IMDB says he's playing someone named "Goose". Not sure what to make of that.

he's the main character's best friend. i liked his character.
