This movie wasn't that bad until.... (spoiler)

He got into the game and started playing in that dress.

That was one of the worst scenes I've ever seen.

I'm pretty sure he's not allowed to have all that other crap on him while he's playing. Sure he put on that jersey thing over what he was wearing but talk about your major mistakes in a movie.

Should of been reshot and with much more time for his transformation back into Hockey. Instead of just talking to the coach and then rushing out there in his gammy's.

Probably the most memorable scene in the movie, which can ruin the movie If you're as compulsive as me.

I agree. While its not a classic it was OK. It's a cute movie. But Hutch tends to ruin it. Some of it isn't his fault. Some is the writing and they made him play a jerk. But being selfish enough to play in a dress? I never saw the ending but I bet he makes the all-star team. He shouldn't but I know he will. Considering he was already suspended.

He was invited to join the All-Star Team, but he turned it down to help out his little sister. He really showed improvement in the end as a character.

He never turned it down. He said he'd check the girls' troop schedule.

Forgot about the ending but memorized that part with him disappointed his sister, he begged his dad for punishment, but his dad just treated him with icy cold disappointment: That struck a chord with me - In the Harry Potter books, Harry also preferred Dumbledore being angry than being disappointed at him. When I watched that part my renegade side cheered; "Awesome! Serve him with cold disappointment and make the selfish jerk live with regret - better than any punishments!"

lol, so true.

once he started cross-dressing the movie got too ridiculous
