Yes, not even a year after Aliens: Colonial Marines, we have another game coming soon. It's called Alien: Isolation and I'm going to give my opinions of why I'm excited for it and why I'm also taking it with a grain of salt.


Why I'm excited:

This is based on Ridley Scott's Alien, which means there's only one alien, you have no weapons, and your alone in the dark.

Taking a more Slender, Amnesia, Outlast approach.

Creators have the same mind set as the film makers had when making Alien, a haunted house in space.

You are being hunted by an unscripted 10-ft. beast.

It's a survival horror.

Gearbox is not involved at all.



Why I'm taking it with a grain of salt:

Aliens: Colonial Marines

It's being developed by Creative Assembly, who made Total War: Rome II, which was an unfinished, buggy mess.




So, in conclusion, do not pre-order this game, wait for the reviews. If it's as good as it's looking so far, it will be amazing. If it's nothing like the two videos above, then we know what were not spending our money on.
