4 of 5 reviews are by people who've only done one.

And the 5th has only written 2
I wish IMDb would list how many reviews a person has written next to their names. These one-timers who write glowing reviews for their own films have tainted the review process.

reply

I'm not saying the review process isn't tainted but this is pretty typical. The first people to review any new-ish film are generally those who have been following it pre-release, are already hyped about it, and then as soon as they see it they have to get it down on paper (or keys). Almost invariably they write a positive review. I'm sure a few days/weeks down the line they wouldn't be so glowing.

Likely they won't ever write another review again anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. Go to as many sites as you can to get a more measured opinion, problem solved :)

reply

More likely, they're shills for the movie. I've seen it loads - especially with UK flicks.

Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit shootin' smack...

mkb-7,
Good eye. Great suggestion too. imdb should consider that.

I too top that, great observation, I only watched it because of the reviews, lol. Being British myself I wanted it to work, gave it 30 mins, another ten, then just skipped through the rest in 5 mins. Terrible,

There are now 20 reviews, the first ten or so on the first page all raving reviews with 8,9,10 stars, of all have only written one review, but time tells all, the next ten seem honest, with 1-3 star ratings...

LMAO Ronfirv... So if you never met the actor who played Sonny, do you reckon you could have managed 1 star? Lol...

Ha! Yeah agreed, some decent effects for a brit film, which pis-ses me off even more why bother when the acting and direction stinks, Matt Kennard is a good actor, been in a lot of UK TV series and will no doubt move on to better things, just he was beside a load of trash but you gotta get noticed somehow!, another guy also stood out, cant remember his name tho, he was the well hard kid, massive who was in most of the fight scenes, good actor and can see him in the future, possibly even another Vinny Jones with a few more acting lessons(think its Fairbrass?)!

Well shame as it had potential, and for the humor/joke attempts in this, well... they just made me cringe! I think the worst must have been

"Any body got a Johnny?" (Condom)
... Hands one over
"Use by 1960" or some historic date... Terrible.
