He would have cheated anyway!

What do you guys think? I honestly think that even if Meris would have fit into the group that that Briann would have done what she could and WITH the help of the old friends to get him back. He was totally back in his home town world with his old friends and old girlfriend. I think he would have left Meris for Briann even if they would have liked her. He was clearly still in love with her.

perhaps...but given the opportunity, he passes it up (which leads to meris' brief moment of giddy happiness). after more thought, he takes the more honorable approach by breaking up with meris first.

i think he's marginally more mature than the rest of the crowd, but easily slips back in with them like he's the last piece of a puzzle - and meris doesn't fit.
