Loved! reminds me of high school cliques

I loved this movie! I felt so bad for Meris she had so much talent and was so nice, and it was awful the way his friends and soon her husband treated her. This movie really spoke to me about a woman just finding her own happiness and identity. The most hilarious moments were when her new friends ran into her ex and the friends and it reminded me of high school jock clique vs. punk rock bad ass clique, and it was so satisfying seeing punk beat jock hands down! I think everyone no matter what your interests can relate to the uncomfortable feelings around people that don't work with you, that just don't respond or embrace you very well. Some people just don't have the right chemistry with one another. It was so much like a grown ups still living high school days. The "mean girls" bringing back his ex to the group, to quickly take down the shy awkward girl that doesn't belong according to them. You could tell the old gf from night one especially with that come get me white shirt had every intention of seducing him back no matter what it took. Then of course the other high schoolness were the foreign neighbors that the jocks and mean girls didn't approve of. So then Meris is pressured to not be their friends or else because they are "different". I watched this on netflix and then sat and watched it again with my hubby who loved it too!

Yes, high school...

I was shocked at most of the behaviors....after all aren't these people supposed to be adults? I was like they never matured beyond high school.
