Wow. Where to begin. Couldn't even stand to finish this one. I created an account on here just to share my thoughts on this film. Within five minutes of the opening scene I was tempted to turn it off but regretfully watched for another 45 minutes or so. The script is so coincidental and silly that it makes ALL of the AirBud movies look Oscar worthy. From the ridiculously stupid dialogue, to the magnificently stupid and clueless characters, this movie just hurt my brain and actually made me angry. Apologies to the cast as I have enjoyed many other films that they have starred in, but I wanted to save anyone's time who was wondering if this film was any good. Can't imagine kids even enjoying this monster.

don't be an ass ..the film aint Oscar worthy but compared to every Syfi channel movie it is

Regardless of the, so called, time lost I usually find that I, myself, would rather watch a movie rather than someone tell me how bad it is. By just looking at the trailer I tell it won't win any awards but that isn't the point of movie making, now is it. By reading it's adapted from a teen/young adult novel I'm sure you could have known what you were getting into.

You might consider saving you own time and refrain from commenting on IMDb message boards on how bad a movie is.

I know how to get lost in lust, not because you should but because you must.

So nobody should post an opinion about a movie unless they already knew what they were going to see before they saw it?

Really?? I found this movie to be very enjoyable as did all 6 grand kids who by the way watch the bigger name movies on the big screen...Sure it mimicked other movies but I don't watch movies with preconceived expectations other than to be entertained, which I was. I have been watching movies since the 60's and there haven't been too many movies that I didn't like. This was a very good movie IMO.
But to call it terrible, horrific, garbage is not fair. I understand that you didn't like it, but it wasn't terrible, horrific or garbage!

I'd find your comment more interesting if you'd attempt to give some details. Basically, every sentence of your comment could apply to any film. If one were to just read your comment in isolation, there would be no way to tell what movie you're talking about. You should give enough detail that even if you were to not mention the title, folks could tell what film you're talking about if they've seen it.

What dialogue did you find stupid, and why do you feel that dialogue is stupid? Give a couple examples and explain why you think that content is flawed without just relying on adjectives like "stupid".

What about the characters seemed stupid and clueless to you? What actions?

That kind of info would be much more interesting.
