I was sure that the Montana Kid was gonna die in some kind of sacrifice for either Jack or Jane. Funny enough, when that one bad guy shot the Kid, I thought to myself, 'that's it, this is where they give it a dramatic ending' Maybe I was thinking of "Passchendaele" too much, but I was surprised by the outcome.

For a second, I thought the dynamited(?) tree stump was gonna fall from the sky and land on the bounty hunter's head. But that would've been to Monty Pythonesque for this movie
