Am I the only one who loved this movie?

I'd seen and loved Passchendaele and so checked out this movie. While not a huge fan of westerns, I liked this one's subtle humor. It was a great take on a 'What if?" As in "What if a gunfighter hides out in a town with only one gun?" I liked the premise and really enjoyed the movie.

People who like this would like Corner Gas and Trailer Park Boys.

You're not the only one who loved this movie - lot's of us did. We're just not as vocal as the haters!

That's nice to know. I love this movie. The humor is just right, I loved the Montana Kid's frustration when no one plays along with his code of the West. And who else but an American would think Queen Victoria is the general store owner's homely mother? I've watched a lot of Westerns, and this one is one of my all time favorites. To add to my street cred, I've been to Jessie James' childhood home, the OK Corral in Tombstone, and see Dodge City's Boot Hill every time I visit my in-laws. Never mind mentioning my great uncles running around with the Dalton Gang back in the day. So if there had been anything about the American gunslinger that didn't ring true, I missed it.

My wife and I are watching it right now and consider it a hidden gem.

"Sir, you don't want to rent that movie. That's one of those you have to read."

I thought it was great fun, solid premise, good story, clever screenplay, lots of interesting characters, appealing performances.

As A Napa Valley man who has lived er ah existed in England last 29 years I have to say I loved it. This morning 0230 hrs due to chronic pain I earned in the US Army I was not able to sleep. Gunless is something I am still not used to living here, however the movie by the same name allowed me to forget about everything that was wrong! Now that the show is over I must say that it was fun and very refreshing. Always a hint of violence but never really panned out except for my sides as I had some good laughs along with fantastic entertainment that made me "care" for the characters! There hasn't been that many movies I have seen lately that can go for all audiences Gunless was outstanding! Highly recommended as it did what one expects from a good movie and some on top of that!

Surprisingly good. I saw it on TV not even knowing the title. Nice humorous touches but some real serious stuff, like when Sean wanted to die. Kind of reminded me of Doc Hollywood too.
