I Love This Book!

They sort of already have.
First-Laurie and Lia should look more Indian-like. But, Alexz doesn't look very Indian-Like.
Second-They made the dad be dead. She doesn't have a little brother in this.
Though, I think that Alexz is going to do a great job as Laurie and Lia. While I was reading it, I imagined Alexz being Laurie and that was before I found out that they were making it a movie and that Alexz would be playing the leads. Plus, Alexz is experienced in the paranormal actind department. Devils Diary, Final Destination 3, So Weird, and Smallville.
Every Lois Duncan book that becomes a movie is in someway ruined. Whether its small details like the hair color of a person or big details like the people that die or already dead. I think it will be a good movie, with the exception of some details they have changed.

I am in the minorty here as I didn't enjoy the book...well I did until the ending. I do however think that the movie will be enjoyable.

I want to board a plane and fly out to who ever decided to change this up and give them a good whack with a baseball bat. although the author gets a hit with a wiffil ball bat.

Why do they always ruin my favorite childhood books? Holes, Where the wild things are, Stranger with my face, and will probably fail with The Giver. whats next they gonna ass rape Dragon's Bait next?

please oh please if they ever do the Diadem Worlds of Magic series let it be something epic looking like The Narnia series. And actually get it right. Surely they can pull off the tub scene and the scene when they find out the "boy" Renald is really a girl Helaine without offending anyone.

I love the book too. The movie is ok.
