I can understand some of the criticism it has received, but it's still one of my favorites. HOWEVER there is one scene I absolutely hate...the cup phones!! Seriously?!? THEY DON'T REALLY WORK!!! Ok...I'm done. :D

shareI thought it was great too. Not an all time classic or anything, but a funny movie with some charm.
As my kids get older, I realize that they don't have the same adventuresome spirit as I did. I complain to them about it, and then my son reminds me that I wasn't adventuresome. I did that stuff because my older brothers forced me to do it or I was running away from them.
I totally get the message. Their happiest, purest days of their lives were spent with each other playing basketball, swimming, chasing girls. Now they have mortgages, tons of stress, lost their jobs, troubled relationships, empty lives.
Who wouldn't want to go back and revisit the less troubling times?
